Hi Marianne

Through i would say Hi. It was actually your report on Amersfoort for which I first stumbled across this site. I was searching Google for the town as I listen to a Podcast from a Catholic priest who lives in the town. He sometimes does sound seeing tours through the streets. Your report was very interesting for me. (and one of the only relevant pieces of information I could find). So thanks again for your report (and reports) Take care

Marianne,
I look forward to hearing about your trip to India. My daughter and I go in late August/early September, but to Rajasthan mostly. We will be going to the caves at Ellora and Ajanta ~ are these in your itinerary?

Thanks for your comments about Waterton National Park. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think the Prince of Wales was based on European architecture, not Canadian. Have a merry Christmas!

Pelabuhan Ratu

Wow, you really going round and round.
Last couple week i went to Ujung Genteng for a short trip. From Jakarta, pelabuhan ratu just in the middle of the totall trip. At ujung genteng i saw a giant sea turtle laid egg at the beach and did fun trekking through reall woods to see several huge river falls. Compared with Pel Ratu, the ujung genteng are offers wild nature.
Pls see my pic at: http://www.trekearth.com/members/hantulaut/photos/

At the end, we wish you happy new year and merry xmas.

cheers

"...True to say the ocean at Pelabuhanratu is often rough with dangerous undertow, but my common sense told me these people were simply bad swimmers....."

You should proof the myth about green cloth by wearing it and took a stand at edge of sea coastall and see what happened in next minutes. :-) U dont need to go swim, just stay still at sea coastall, close with the beach.

BTW i love to read your report about Pelabuhan Ratu.
:-)
cheers.

Hi Marianne,
Thanks for the suggestion. There is a slight proplem though. I am not a computer expert when it comes to fiddling with photos! I just take images with my camera and dowmload it to my pc. In other words I have'nt a clue about how to go about it !! I shall try and learn as best as I can. May'be you can teach me that when we meet here.Take care,
Cheers,
Kris

Hi Marianne,
Thanks for your comment on my Kerala fotos. Yes, they were taken during monsoon season. I can assure you Kerala normally is far brighter than those fotos. Those elephant fotos were taken in an Elephant santuary in Guruvayur near Trissur. I am planning to post a report on the place here at Globo soon. If you want to see it asap please go to http://www.superindian.com/DisplayArticlecategory8.htmThearticle and you can see a few more of my reports on Kerala including one on the Elephant Sanctury. Please inform me of the dates of your proposed arrival in Kerala so that I can e mail you my cell no. Take care and carry on travelling !
Cheers,
Kris
