Thanks so much for the praise! I was very surprised to get the award. I have to admit that I love that photo too. I was so excited when I was there, that I took 5 rolls of pics. Not all of them were this good...

I meant best in relation to UK islands. I wouldn't dream of making any wider comparison!

Mull is certainly good for coastal walking. There is one mountain [Ben More] above the magic [haha] 3000 feet and I didn't feel that bad about being unable to do it.
The best islands for mountain walking are Skye and Arran, in that order.
I say 'mountain walking' deliberately as I am no climber, although I know that anybody who is would say that Skye is a climbers, island. However good the climbs there are, it is a myth that htere's little for the non-climbing walker.
Have you been to any of the islands?
