Mousehole pronounced "Mouzle"

Posted: 2005-06-28 02:49 AM
Hi Marianne,

Thanks for your guest book entry. I was in Mousehole pronounced "Mouzle" in Cornwall last week and as you can see from the pictures the weather was gorgeous. You are correct about the disaster...it was a lifeboat that was lost - see www.submerged.co.uk/penlee.php. I know that on the outside of the Ship Inn there is a plaque dedicated to the then Landlord who lost his life in this disaster.

Cheers, Brit

Mahdia News

Well, finally I found the Hotels card!!! – For your information: the Hotel is a kind of Bed&Breakfast, runned by a family, the may have 5 to 8 rooms or so. The house has a roof top (breakfast) restaurant.
They are member of SIT – Societe Immobiliere et Touristique – Tel. (216) 73 681 629 and Fax (216) 73 680 274 in: Rue Ibn Fourat, Mahdia
The next tourist complex (large hotel) is about 1 km away, and package tourists only around during the day, because of their free diner bufet at the hotel and the distance to it. Tunesia is a destination of the All-Inclusive-Tourism. Thats may the purpose I like the place so much. Still: you easily access the cities as Monastir (next intl. Airport) and Sousse (train to Tunis) by a scheduled running metro train.
There a lot of small cafe and restaurants in the old town – good to spend a couple of days.
For any further informations: its a pleasure for me to assist you.
Regards from Frankfurt, Ralph

well, I ve been looking this morning for at least a two hours, searching a envelope where I keep the informations about Tunesia - terrible, I cant find, what makes me crazy...
But I will!
I have been aslo a long time ago to tunesia (10-12 yrs) and I was a bit disapointed, everything works like home.
Mahdia I liked a lot, it was different to the other, but it was a low season.
You remember the square in town, the circle near the port? just walk in the opposite - when reaching the beach, turn left, and after about 100 m, sharp to the right: 20 m away from a dive center you will find the "al jazira" sign.
I send you the details, and address asap!!!
Promised! - Ralph

Thank you for your comment on my Noord-Holland report. I liked very much what I have seen in the Nederlands, and I hope to come back to see the southern part, also your Eindhoven.
I'm waiting for your report on Venice!

Tirana

Posted: 2005-06-26 11:29 PM
Hi Marianna,

Harry
