Bonjour,...

I really loved your Cube House album.. I`ll make sure to go visit it, it looks intriguing.
Maybe it`s a Canadian thing, but like Inzaghi, I have problems pronouncing the G and the R in your language. *HIHIHIHI* Perhaps one day I`ll get it.
Talk to you soon..

I have to laugh at myself. I read your message, and took the link to IgoUgo, then spent the last hour reading your journals.
It is wonderful that you have been able to travel so extensively. I'll have to return to your site, because there are several of your journals that I want to read. The trip to Zanzibar sounds spectacular.
Thanks for telling me about IgoUgo. I prefer this site, but I signed up with the other on too.

I just read your report about Stonetown, Zanzibar. It sounds like a really interesting place...a lot of cross-cultural history. I have only had an interest in visiting Ethiopia, in Africa, but your reports are getting me interested in other places. By the way, what's a "tout"?

Langkawi Sunsets
Posted: 2004-02-26 04:46 AM
Hi Marianne,
Sorry for the delay in replying to your signing of my guestbook, I have only just picked up your message from 16 Jan.
In answer to your questions, yes Langkawi is very romantic. There is nothing like sitting back with a drink in hand watching the sun go down. There is a different hue to the sunset every day with the colours also changing more than once on one particular day.
I was probably taken more so with it as I live on the east coast and see the sun rise but not set.
Happy travels.

Hi Marianne!

Glad you enjoyed the photos of Boston. I went there as part of my job with the US Government, for 4 days, then I stayed for the weekend. It's an easy city for walking around, and the subway is easy to use.
I went to Turkey with a class of 29 other students, and a professor and his family. It was an archaeology study, so it was very fascinating. I was a Religion major, so I investigated the ancient religions of the area. I don't have much opportunity to use foreign languages, so I don't remember much Turkish. I will post the photos of the trip, when I have time. So many of the photos are on slides, and I don't have the ability to scan them. Maybe soon.

Hello again!

I had time today, to visit your site, and see all of your photo albums. You have a lot of great photos, and the places you have been are very interesting. The photos from Africa are nice to see. I don't know much about travelling in Africa.
I had to search for more information about Kubuswoning and the architect, Piet Blom. (I would love to live in one of those!) There are several nice photos and information about them at www.galinsky.com which is a site for people who enjoy architecture. It might interest you.
As a graphic designer and photographer, I appreciate the many beautifully composed photos in your gallery. Thanks so much for sharing them with all of us!

Hi Marianne,
How's going?
Thank you for looking at my Barcelona photos. I am still uploading some. Takes a while to choose the pictures I like from the entire bunch taken.
Have a nice day!
Cheers,
Jane

Hi Marianne,
Just a note to let you know that I deleated the old photo album of Rome, and then re-created it, so all of the blank slides are gone now. Thanks again for pointing this out for me.
