China...

Hello Amanda,
Yes, I think you are very brave as you travelled to a country that you don't understand / speak their language. I am from Taiwan and even though I speak Mandrain as well, I still so far have a hard time travelling here in China.
Cheers,
Jovial

Amanda, I forgot to say that I have also lots of photos about Rarotonga and Cook Islands, another part of Polynesia but this time west of Tahiti. And I will add a great many of these pics to my albums too.
Cheers

Hi, Misty

It has been a long time since I last hear of you. Apparently many ogf our friends in Globo seem to appreciate Rapa Nui and its landscapes. So much the better as I made about 2500 pics there and I still have plenty of them to upload to Globo.
I just need time to achieve this goal.
Cheers Misty.

Terracotta Warriors

Misty,
Firstly, is there any place you haven't been - you are AMAZING!
Several years ago an exhibition came to the Asian Museum in San Francisco with the Warriors. They were just amazing. I have always hoped to see them at the site. My oldest son is thinking about joining a Peace Corp project in China next year - that may be just the push I need to go!

Cheers Amanda,
This site has been great for making many, many connections in New Delhi before undertaking my first trip to India. What fun! Everyone is so informative and hospitable, who needs Frommer's guide or Lonely Planet!? I'm so chuffed. Naturally, should anyone wish to visit Los Angeles,
I would be honored to be their personal tour guide... unless they desire to tour Universal Studios... then they're on their own!
Yours truly, Emily
