Hi folks, I became an early pensioner in 2015 and now have a 50m² apartment in München-Laim with sunny balcony. This is the first time in my life that I am living alone. Now enjoy my hobbies!

No, i don' like that at all...

haha My english is far from perfect. I'm going to return to the US unable to speak any language at all.
And, jackie chan isn't Tibetan. Long hair and a tan Brad can play a Tibetan. Plus, he is HOT and Jackie Chan isn't, and since Nikki & I would have to star in it ourselves, we'd prefer Brad.
And, I re-edited the Leshan report because of your comment, other than spelling was there anything else wrong?
thanks,
Veronica

Thanks... but you flatter me too much!

Rudi,
I think saying I'm the top female report writer is a bit, umm exaggerating because I'm not that good it reports, i'm just good at telling stories.
And, not to rub my own ego but i feel like this particular adventure should be turned into a movie. I mean, think of it, a tibetan nomad, two american girs who want to run away with him...
I think if we could cast Brad Pitt as the tibetan, and Nikki & I of course would have to play ourselves, we would have a box office hit... right?
Thanks for the congrats on MOM in my guestbook too. You've been incredibly helpful, so thanks!

Fair enough

Thanks Rudi
I guess we all go a bit over the top at times. I know I do.
I'm sure we will both put up many more pics over time that will get excellent, good, bad and terrible ratings - as we have done in the past.
I do totally agree that we need more people to rate. Sometimes I have thought a photo [not mine] underrated at 1* and have even given 4* in one such case. I can only think of one explanation for that raising the overall grading to 3*.
Best Wishes, David

Your rudeness is unnecessary, Rudi.

Hi Rudi
People are entitled to different opinions and I often find your critical comments constructive and helpful.
However there is no place on this site for attacking somebody's character without proof.
I asked you to explain your comment 'Hope I we can continue trusting your contributions.....' It’s blatant rudeness to question my integrity and you put a heading that would draw attention to this public message.
Your ‘explanation’ beggars belief. ‘I just thought you new/saw the effect and could explain it!’
Gee, thanks. Perhaps you don’t see why I should find that offensive. I do realise that English is not your first language, although your command of it normally impresses me. Take it from me, it is offensive to suggest that I knowingly keep a ghost to boost my gradings and that I have something I need to ‘explain’ about them.
Looking carefully at my gradings, I don’t believe the ghost exists but if it/he/she does, I repeat that I am not aware of it/him/her.

Kerala calling !
Posted: 2005-12-05 09:41 PM
Hi Rudi,
Thanks for the nice comment on my Kochi report and also for rating it. I am glad that you enjoyed it. Promoting Kerala is the only reason I am here at Globo and I've decided not to write about the other several holidays I had over the years in the UK and Europe. When I took the decision to move base to Kerala, I was opening a new page in my life and I never regretted it. Finding good friends like yourself here at Globo really gives me all the encouragement I need. Carry on with your sterling work here at Globo. For my part I was away from Globo sorting out some personal problems for a few months and am glad to say that I am back now ready to write more reports. Once again thanks for your support. Take care,
Cheers,
Kris

My ghost
Posted: 2005-12-05 11:49 AM
Hi Rudi
If I have a ghost, I'm not aware of it. I shouldn't mnid haunting a few people - but only when I'm dead.
I've certainly not noticed a lot of 5* either, although I have pages of 4*, which I don't regard as bad.
If I have got a ghost, I wish it would vsit the ones graded as 1* and at least tell me why.
I welcome constructive criticism and I shall be interested in your more detailed remarks.
I'm less certain about your last sentence, though. What is it supposed to mean?
Cheers
David
