Hi folks, I became an early pensioner in 2015 and now have a 50m² apartment in München-Laim with sunny balcony. This is the first time in my life that I am living alone. Now enjoy my hobbies!

Cusco report

Hi Rudi
Thanks for your message. There seem to be no reports or tips on the part of Portugal that I mean to visit in December. I shall be disappointed if I can't contribute something on the area.
Cheers, David

Thank you very much for your feedback on my latest pics.

Yes we had a great day and I enjoyed taking those pics but you know I'm just so used to those views that I don't think they are so special. Your comments just made me realise more facts about them, thanks.

thank you for sharing your thoughts and views, it's a great pleasure being part of the same community as you!

have a nice day

Hi Rudi
Thanks. How could I not have noticed that?
I think perhaps we ought to have a page for new members that sets out the many benrfits of the site. I foret what you do get when you join but something that could be saved and used for reference would help.
I should be very willing to have a go at the material but I'm not hot on page design. I should, of course, be happier to do it in combination with you - I don't know if that would cover the page design.
If you are interested, I think we should get Andy's view as it would go out with a welcome message in his name.
Cheers, David

Hi Rudi!!!

hey there ...
Thank you for your compliments. My collection of, "butterflies", as you call them are what I hope will turn into true friends, Globo, is a wonderful way of meeting likeminded people from all over the world...In my opinion, friends are the most inportant thing in the world and if we all try to make friends, the world just seams to smile back at us, granted the majority of my friends are female ...and beautiful, but, ...well..... why not!! I like and get on with ladies very well...and there seams to be a wonderful selection of truly beatiful ladies here, on the inside... I love chatting and finding out about different cultures and I find the whole globo experience truly an educational, and pleasurable way of spending my spare time.. Im also honoured to call you, friend.... If the world had more people like us..... who needs war!!!!

Love and Peace

Matt

Hi Rudi
Thanks for the guestbook message. Sometimes I think I'll never come to terms with this site, much as I admire it. Where on earth do you find the visito numbers? If that figure is right, and you usually are, it's marvellous!

Picture comment and rating

Posted: 2005-10-27 11:07 PM
Hi Rudi
Thanks for the comment. Whereas higher ratings are always pleasing - and very low ones can be depressing - I don't think I shall lose much sleep over one 3 rather than a four.
What is important is that you, like I do, take the trouble to look and rate. What really does depress me is the number of my pictures that have been viewed less than 5 times.
Cheers, David

Rudi, thank you.
I have more pics of Portugal, but I am limited to 10 monthly. Next time I will publish about Coimbra.
The profile pic is not good, it was an interview in a spanish newspaper after my around the world journey (I am journalist) and could not get the original picture, so I took a picture of the newspaper with all the notes left from China, India, vIETNAM, nEPAL, ETC.
Cheers

for your comments on my report on London. I figure it's better to be honest about a destination (cost) than to gloss over it and say go here and there and spend a small fortune doing so. That way, those of us who are a little lighter in the wallet can still enjoy their trip.
