Hi folks, I became an early pensioner in 2015 and now have a 50m² apartment in München-Laim with sunny balcony. This is the first time in my life that I am living alone. Now enjoy my hobbies!

sorry rudi, I found Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. I had wrote the name wrongly. But Korsakof I do not find it. It is 40 minutes by bus, the main port from where the japanese take the ferry to Hokkaido. It is very important port.

Hi Rudi
Thanks for the message.
I thought that one was the best i had put up for a bit and was disappointed it wasn't rated as 5*. Still, I see one of my Lipari ones is up there at the moment and 2 in 2 days is not something I expect.
Cheers, David

Hi Rudi,
Thanks for your really positive comment re my LP album, I am glad you liked it!
It is such a special place as is Laos in general so it was really difficult to choose which pics to include without making it too long.
You definately have to add Laos to your travel wish list.
Take care,
Kerrie

Hi Rudi
I see it's you hovering just behind me today.
I'm trying to write a book about my travels and at the moment it's taking a lot of time so I shan't be putting up much here for a bit.
I've still got photos to upload on Sicily and Norway and I'll do at least one report after my trip to Portugal in mid December.
So soar past for a bit! As you said, we seem to be sharing the third spot.
Best wishes
David

From Russia with problems

Posted: 2005-11-22 07:29 PM
Hi Rudi, I have just made an entry in my travel log, FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, but it does not appear in the homepage. Pls, advise what I made wrong. Here in Kamchatka the internet cafes are few and far between. There is only one, in fact, in a resort near the geysers and by bus to get there takes 1 hour from Petropavlovsk Kamchatski.
It is very cold, minus 10, wind, snow, metel in russian means a mixture of wind and snow, and there are no boats to Kurils or Sakhalin island, I will have to fly via Vladivostok next week. Meanwhile I go to the geysers, there is hot, and sleep in the nature, besides the geysers, and eat yagade and klubniki, because the hotels are expensive.

A little bit different

Posted: 2005-11-20 07:53 PM
Hey Rudi,

I wasn't too sure whether my report would be received well, it's a little bit differnt, but your right. There are so many reports on Venice that I needed something different to bring it alive.

Thanks for your comments
