Hi folks, I became an early pensioner in 2015 and now have a 50m² apartment in München-Laim with sunny balcony. This is the first time in my life that I am living alone. Now enjoy my hobbies!

Tunesian Oasis

Hi Rudi,
I just browsed through the top rated pictures and found your excellent picture of the tunesian oasis. It is very nicely composed and looks so dramatic with the bright sand dunes under the dark clouds. Thanks for sharing it with us.

French Antarctic islands
Posted: 2005-11-07 10:52 AM
Rudi, yes, please, solve the problem, because there should be four Globo destinations: Crozet, Kerguelen, Saint Paul and Amsterdam. If you can, please, try to create a new one also for Antarctica continent, because presently there is not such destination. In the two reports about Antarctica (wojciech and mine) we had to use Ushuaia in Argentina instead. If you have doubts regarding which pic. of mines under Reunion belongs to Crozet, Kerguelen, etc, pls, let me know and I will help you.
Thanks for your help and Regards
Jorge

What a wonderfully kind person you are.
I was only assembling some pictures for an album of Mount Usher Garden and did not really appreciate how funny he looked until you have brought it to my attention

Hello Rudi

You make it sound so easy, but you are right, we do have a very large quantity of different situations of nature all around us at all times and the good part is that you can follow situations which is close to you. I am also very fortunate , from time to time, to be able to travel all around South Africa during my normal day to day routine, (I do a average of approximately 400 + km per day with a 4x4). The baby however will be another fully grown bird in the next 5 -7 days and the nest will be empty. Thank you for the entry in my guestbook , Your comments, and advice is really appreciated. Sakkie

Go to China! haha
Posted: 2005-11-06 05:42 AM
I may be a bit partial because I've been in China so long, but go to China! I think it would be good to slip into Beijing before the olympics. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near this city when that wave hits. And, I almost fear what will happen once it passes, so slip in and take a look! I promise it'll be worth it. But again, I'm definitely partial.
Thanks for the comments on my reports too! I appreciate them.

Hello Rudi

Good to hear from you, I am very surprise that the album were chosen. I am also realy happy that the others like the photos because winning is not the reason why I load the photos on the Globe, I am happy if the rest of the world can look at mother nature through my eyes and see what I see. I am surely going to load a couple more photos during this month. Thanks for the kind words. Bye

I love photography but am a complete amateur, I saw this view from the Tate Modern Gallery and knew I just had to take it. Was very lucky it came out as clear as it did.
