India hot?
Posted: 2005-12-10 08:17 AM
David,
I know all about your 'heat aversion' , but it is not hot in India i.e. on the coast. It is 25 - 29 degrees with a nice breeze in Goa and surroundings during January and February.
(see how I nicely put 29 degrees not 30)

Thanks Amsterdam
Posted: 2005-12-10 05:50 AM
David,
Thanks for reading my Amsterdam report. I went to all things / museums mentioned. To tell the truth they are not very interesting, in my opinion. I only recently went inside a coffeeshop because I had never been inside one. (with my son). I just had orange juice.
The Sex Museum is the most hilarious one. It is right opposite the cenytral station. This means that all tourists pass it. The most interesting thing was the reaction and the looks of the other visitors.

LOFOTE ISLANDS
Posted: 2005-12-09 02:39 PM
Hi David,
you can't imagine what memories came to my mind when I looked at your slide show. It seems to have been centuries ago that I have travelled the Lofote Islands. I loved them. I came from Stockholm by way of Kiruna, Riksgränsen, Nar vik to Svolvär and toured the islands by Hurtigrouten. It was a wonderful summer.
Thank you for sharing.

Hello
Posted: 2005-12-08 04:27 PM
When I will have a bit more time I will try to post my photos of Peru, Nepal 2003, and Poland.
I went today to do somre shopping, my bank account suffered a lot! I also saw a big fire, that 's put some excitment on your day off. Lille is great city to go shopping, only a 1.40 minutes on the Eurostar.
See you

Hi David,
My sincere thanks for reading, rating and commenting on my Kochi report. I am glad you enjoyed it. You are in a selected group of friends from England (along with Brit and a few others) who've continued to support me after my return to Kerala by constantly getting in touch via e mails and I am really grateful for the fabulous support. Take care and carry on contributing!
Cheers,
Kris

Unluckily for You...
Posted: 2005-12-06 01:29 PM
David,
I still have a two week long Yunnan trip from Jan. to back-report so you are going to have to read a few more of my china reports before all is said and done. I probably won't get to them until I return home but maybe I'll do them as a release from studying for finals.
And, thank you for your kind guestbook entry congratulating me on my M.O.M. I can't believe that it was given to me, and that I didn't know until I checked my guestbook.
Thanks for all your support and comments, I love them

Czech Republic pictures
Posted: 2005-12-06 12:51 PM
Hi David,
I just gave myself a 'Czech republic tour' through your pictures. I just wante dto see what I had missed so far by not visiting the country.
I think you captured to country very well. There is a bit of everything and I have now a good impression of what it is like. The buildings in Prague are typical of 'middle Europe' I think. They remind me of some German and Austrian cities.
Our son's girlfrined is from the Czech Republic and she has invited us to come. We will, but after our India trip.

I apologise David
Posted: 2005-12-06 12:44 PM
...my attack was on a fast rater noticed over months but you are correct that I over reacted and took it out on you instead. Please accept my humble apologies. I will try not to take the rating system too seriously in future although I have invested an extreamy lot of time in it over the last year. When I see unserious rating I should rather just report it to staff next time. The system would be perfect if only more people would rate. Looking at your most popular pictures, upto 20 raters cann't be wrong, they are great photographs :-) RR
