Below I meant SOMEONE-ELSE ghost-rating. That happens often with new members but also between friends at GLOBO, also second accounts are in the "lupe" You are FINE, don't worry, I just thought you new/saw the effect and could explain it!

Since then we have have found other enthusiastic raters who think all your pictures are *****?

Example: To your your **picture "hanging-ship" meantioned by "hourouke" below (still needs to rate it!):
- the subject is only partially travel related
- only the comment/text saves the scene
- why flashlight during a small ceronomy
- colour is pale. Sure the red was brighter!
- composition is poor, there are light bulbs hanging from the ship and hanging from the bulbs is a kind of escape-route plaque!

Any other observations and remarks are apreciated. I take a LOT of my own time for the GLOBOrating system and believe it helps the whole community. I was upset yesterday but must also cool down sometimes. RR

I see someone gave you a 2 star for the hanging ship in Scandanavian Church

This in my view is a technically good photo giving clear insight into a feature that I never knew of before (pardon my ignorance) and it encompasses a group of visitors making the context of tourism clear.

In other words, a technically competent picture worth many words.

Why 2 stars?

Rating is a subjective judgement and the ways of man and woman are not easily understood. Another great mystery of life.

I can well imagine some body don't like right hand-drive because I don't like left hand-drive very much !
It's no so difficult to take the train in France, you have some web site like http://www.sncf.fr but it's more difficult by bus, it's true.
I think to go UK surely one day ! I practic golf and you have beautiful golf !

...you have many increadible shots and many brilliant reports but some (a very lot of) of your photographs lack focus, colour and even a proper subject or them!!! Sorry... will expand soon... but some of these are intentionaly rated higher for a cause still to be explained. They are your photos, please explain them to us!!!!

I would not have written this if not noticing you have a ghost admirer often awarding ***** points for only a very very plain photograph...

Otherwise you seem to be a wonderful, cheerfull and adventurous traveller like most of us. Hope I we can continue trusting your contributions....

What a interresting slide show, it look so cold out there, and with all the fish hanging on that stelation, a fish smell must be present at all times. Thank you for sharing with us. Sakkie

Travelling to Lofoten was my dream, but I couldn' t go there because of my time limit, I should definitely go there after your nice album..
