Costa Rica is a beautiful small country. From the east coast to the west coast, one could probably make it in under 2 hours. This country is full of tropical rainforest, volcano's, farms, beaches, and great hiking.
Favourite spots:
My favorite spot was Montezuma. This is a little beach town on the west coast that is located at the edge of a rainforest. There are amazing lagoons where you can cliff dive your way down to the bottom, just by following waterfalls.
What's really great:
I enjoyed great hospitality, great food, amazing views, and beautiful beaches. The country is cheap and safe and a fun place to visit.
Accommodations:
In montezuma, you can stay at a variety of guest houses. The place where I stayed was about 7 dollars per night.
Nightlife:
There are a variety of night clubs on the beach that play all sorts of music.
