No I wasn't away of the other 'drive-in' volcano. I know the one in St Lucia advertises as being the only one. I sure learnt something new. I seem to be fascinated with volcanoes at present, so this one must go on to my list of things top see.

Marianne,
We leave a week from today! we have 14 days plus 2 days for flights. Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Pushkar, Udiapur, Jodpur, Jaisalmer, Aurangabad with a private driver for transportation. We move very quickly! My daughter is an art student and she laid out these plans.
I am so looking forward to this trip! Stilling trying to button everything up in the office before I go.

thank you for your comments, fortunately the weather was perfect in Kara deniz (black sea) during the tour, it is usual to have rainy days in Karadeniz but we didn't have at that time, but in Ayder Plateu, the heating radiators were on during the night and we slept with a blanket also:)I hope I can goto East Anatolia next year, there are a lot of historical places there, take care..
