Putten, again
Posted: 2006-05-10 10:50 PM
Marianne,
The week I was in Putten, the weather was excellent.
Actually I will be back again on 5th June. This time I am flying via London to stop there for a weekend.
Never been there before, so currently spending a lot of time in planning for that trip :-)
Thanks, Kiran

David, Thanks for reading about Kovalam. I am glad you don't feel inclined to go there, as it is not worth the effort.

Hi Marianne
Yes, I know Amsterdam is nice but next time I go to the Netherlands, I hope to see some other places that I don't know.
We are off to Italy for a fortnight next week concentrating on Umbria and Abruzzo and in September we are going to spend a week in Cornwall with a friend who has just bought a cottage with her brother. So it looks as if the Netherlands may be off season like when I went to Belgium.
Cheers

Thanks for your comments, on my report about Luxor and slideshow. I'm very happy to have received AOTM as it's my first.
Take care
Amanda.
PS I've also added the exchange rate for E£ on my Egyptian report

Your messages

Hi Marianne
Thanks for your two messages.
Don't worry. I can think of nothing that would get me to Morocco in the summer. I can't remember whether i told you we had a wonderful holiday in Zimbabwe in the spring once - surely Morocco's not hotter than that at an equivalent time of year, is it?
About the other one, I think that it can be as important to know about a writer's negative reactions to a place as any others. I am glad that your honest presentation didn't seem to count against you among those grading your report.
Cheers

Hi Marianne
About "Dracula Casle":
The addresse of this funnny building is Mincing Lane which just nest to Great Tower Street, a few minutes from Monument Tube station and French Church Street National Train Train Station. And Yes I do enjoy my walks into London, I have been living here for 6 years but never visited the city apart from the typical tourist attractions, it is only now I started to walk around ..How sad! I have seen and learn a lot during these three days off and lots of photos!
Next time you drop in London give me a shout, may be we can meet and go for walks together with your party.
I love Amsterdam, I think it is great city, specialy if you are on a bike, in London you have to be suicidal to do that! ah ah ah ah"!
Thanks for looking at my pics, I will upload an album soon.
Take care
Isabelle
