travel report
Posted: 2006-03-30 12:48 PM
hi marianne,
thank you for signing my guestbook!
Unfortunately I am not planning on writing a travel report on helsinki, because I would not consider it being very helpful for others as I am not visiting tourist attractions (I might do some next week). I also can't give any tips for where to stay and eat out....
I am rather an expert on fashion stores and bars in helsinki... :)
cheers,
anika

Report writing guidelines
Posted: 2006-03-29 01:18 PM
Hi Marianne, I’ve had a look at the updated guidelines and would only make one small technical comment. In the second paragraph “That way you never loose any of your text“, the word loose should be spelt lose. Loose is usually used to mean the opposite of tight. Hope you don’t mind me mentioning it.
Other than that the guidelines are really good and I think they will be very useful. They will certainly help me with my Gent report that I am hoping to have ready soon.
Kind Regards
Clive

Hi Marianne
I just checked your edited guide lines. They seem to be fine.
Thank you for your hard work.
I do have a excel template for reports with an automated character count ;-)

Picture from a book?

Hi Marianne
I saw your comments on Aladdino picture, do you think it can come from a book?
If it is it breaks Globo rules.

well i am not from kerala and neither i know malayalam but i have few malyalam friends and i asked them abt the words u asked.
he said that ...the first word = the yearly ornaments and clothes worn by the god in temple, simple meaning is the ornaments which are put on the god during annual function
the second word meaning is a very special puja or prayer offered in the temple .
if u want more details then just give me more details as in which contex u want and i will give u more information

Travel in India
Posted: 2006-03-25 05:42 PM
Hi Marianne,
thank you for your fast reply. I just started to prepare my next journey to India, my host family in Delhi with whom I stayed during my first vivit invited me to the wedding of one of their son, that will be late this year. I thought I might go to either Rajastan or Kerala too. So during the next weeks I will read all the reports about India including yours. I certainly will check the places you told me about. It is good to know that I can travel safely on my own. In June I will be off to Kyrgistan, where I have been once and what want to see again.
Take care.
