Hi Marianne
Thanks for your comments on three recent Italian reports. You have probably gathered that Abruzzo is my favurite region and that I'm keeping it until last. One on Opi is finished but needs photos added. There will then be one more.
I hope you do the trip you talk about and it would be great if my reports helped you.
Cheers
David

Your message and fleas!
Posted: 2006-05-27 08:11 AM
Hi Marianne
Thanks for the message and yes, everything went well, thanks. A compatriot of yours we met at Spello suggested that our home area might have too many fleas for him!!
We were somewhat reassured to find he meant midges - but even so it's not like parts of Scotland here. I suppose you can't be blamed for the ignorance of one compatriot - I shouldn't want to be blamed for some English behaviour we saw!
Cheers

Hi Marianne
I loved reading your report on Symi, it was really lovely, I love the history lesson about how the sponges were collected, thanks for sharing that.

Thanks for your kind coments. In fact the place renders it self to nice photos and inspiration. It's a coast line of aprox 40 km with endless subjects to appreciate, from the Sea to the shore and to the rocky hills.
Take care, Pedro

Wrong info
Posted: 2006-05-26 10:23 AM
I have tried to talk to Andreas or whatever his name is, but he just said that it's an "accu´rate" info taken from official CIA or something irrelevant like that, site! That is just stupid thinking... I am tired of trying to "teach" people that the world is not like USA describes it according to it's needs.
Anyways, I prefer VT and I spend quite a bit of time there. I have met a lot of nice people there and one of them is now my husband for a 1,5 years :)
