Writing reports

Posted: 2006-03-25 05:42 PM
Hi,
you are right. To write a reports takes a lot of time. I just started to assemble informations about Leipzig where I have been in this incredible hot summer a few years ago. I have to remember what I saw and experienced. It is a wondereful lively town.
Cochin sounds interesting, I read about it as I was working on my report about Delhi. Is there something to be seen of the past of this town?
So long.

I appreciate your note. I was frustrated because the password you sent didn't work. But you sent two and the second one worked. So all is well.

Thanks,
Herb

That sounds great. I like to see the historic parts of a town. I will keep this in my mind.

Your comments

Thanks for the comments. I just say the best, most enjoyable way to do it. The cars were all lined up in a row and that one looked the oldest. I also could't think of a caption and "really old car" just popped in my head. I definetely liked the cemetery. I thought it might be a little bigger, but it was still worth it. It's also hard to get there though. You have to take a small and narrow path to get there. I think funny and amusing reports make it a liitle better to read. You don't want to read something boring. It also takes away from the effect of writting what you did there. I never thought about it but I do go to a lot of cemeteries. Thank you again for the comments.

Marianne,

Thanks for the message.

Yes I have been in the Netherlands. Actually I work for a dutch company (located in India) and hence have travelled to Holland more than 20 times in last 4 years or so. I have plans to be there in the last week of April this time.

Mostly it so happens that I stay in NL from Tuesday till Friday and fly back.

I would be very glad to learn from you some ideas on places of interest.

Apart from the things in the reports, some of the other places I visited in Holland include Kinderdijk, Enkhuizen, Urk, Batavia, Harderwijk etc.

Regards, Kiran

Yes, I often stayed there.
I must say i was really surprised when I looked at its website and saw how much cheaper the rooms are when booked through it. For a single it's actually less than your £60!
Cheers, David

hi marianne,
thank you for your kind support on my report. i've been putting the report on hold for quite some times, therefore i was so happy it's finished.
I had great times in Flores, I traveled the middle part to the east and the places were wonderful.
I stayed in Sao for quite some days, and there were actually people around. There were around 10 rooms filled, and i guess the business had started again. the swimming pool was filled when i got there. so, i didn't have the luxury of having it filled just for me :) the place is owned by a former financial minister of indonesia, Frans Seda. Until now, he's still one of a respected person from Flores.
So, i hope you have great times travlin. and if you're around indonesia again, I hope you'll have a good time here.

cheers,

-delvi-
