Hi folks, I became an early pensioner in 2015 and now have a 50m² apartment in München-Laim with sunny balcony. This is the first time in my life that I am living alone. Now enjoy my hobbies!

Street Art

Hi Rudi.
What a good idea. You have some really nice pics collected over the years.
My friend and I met two Cubans that showed us the street of art. It is hidden in the middle of Havana. Between Vedado and La Habana Vieja.
In the last house is a small gallery with paintings from Salvadore, one of Havana's famous artists. Once to twice a week the street is full with dancing Cubans. They have salsa and rumba parties with lots of Mojitos.
I have seen beautiful street art before but never covering a hole street with the most amazing colors.
Keep finding new pictures. I would love to see them!

I am happy to receive a comment from you. It is easy to have a look at all my pictures, right? :) Your gallery is beautiful and very rich. I am totally impressed by "Gateway to Blue Mosque."

Hi I am glad you enjoyed that info on MI6 building, I just rememberred that horrible day at work!! But I like the look of "Babylonian tower". My boyfrriend told me that the glass looks green because it is 89mm thick! So that's why when a missile hit it, there was only minor damages!
If you come to London let me known, I will be able to show you, the hidden corners as well!
Take care

Thanks for your comments on my pictures,
No I do not work for the Mi6, as a foreign National in Great Britain, I will not be allowed!
But if you are intrested I have a few more infos: on the afternoon of September 20, 2000 the building was attacked by a Russian-built anti-tank missile. Striking the eighth floor, the impact caused only superficial damage. (it was built to resist bomb blast following the terrosrist attacks in London in 1980's). The responsibility to Irish Republicans, the IRA. I was working at Waterloo on that day (less than a 1km), the noise was incredible, we had to stop all our trains, it was cahos!
If you watch James Bond films you will have seen this building in Golden Eye and the World is not enought.
I don t how hoe much it cost to be built, but a lot of Money, it like our Pentagon!
Take care
Isabelle
