Hi folks, I became an early pensioner in 2015 and now have a 50m² apartment in München-Laim with sunny balcony. This is the first time in my life that I am living alone. Now enjoy my hobbies!

Bullied - me?
Posted: 2006-03-24 06:45 AM
Hi Rudi
Thanks for your message. I used to be bullied quite a bit when young. Being big and a bit clumsy is an unfortunate combination.
However that was a long time ago and with words I reckon I can usually give as good as I get.
Cheers

Guten Tag,

Hi Rudi
Many thanks on your comments on the Giant Panda, yes I was really happy to have seen one, I know they are not in liberty, but if the only way for their survival, well...
After one month of the train from London, I have to admit that was one of must see, and became one of the highlight of the trip!
What I would really would love to do, is to go to China and volunteer in the Wolong sanctuary for Giant Panda.
I Love them!
Well thanks again for taking the time to comments on my Pics.
Good Day

Rudi,
this I can't do, I think. I have been a guest in Indian family. I nearly never went out alone, either my hosts took me places or they let their driver drive me. He always stayed with me that nothing could happen to me. I only once or twice made it home alone. So what shall I tell? My experience with those tuktuk drivers? That was indeed something and it was fun.

Your comment on my report about Delhi
Posted: 2006-03-22 01:11 PM
Oh Rudi,
thanks, you are speaking to my heart. I think it is unfair to have the rating of a report depending on pictures. I agree that this way some reports are overrated. I read those you mentioned. I now have a scanner but my computer doesn't work properly so I still can't put pictures into my reports. It also is difficult to find the real good ones. What I have seen so far is not always very good or expressive.
Take care

Hi Rudi,
I am glad that you enjoy the photos from the Valley of Fire! It is an incredible place. I wandered off from my family for a few minutes, and found myself alone in a beautiful, serene canyon. The light from the red rocks, and the red sand, reflected on my skin. I felt like I was saturated with the desert. It was a memorable experience.
True, the slide show is short, but I am looking forward to many more visits. I am moving to Las Vegas in June. There are many wonderful places within a days drive, like the Grand Canyon, the ancient Anasazi Indian ruins, the national parks in Utah, and even Los Angeles and the Pacific ocean. (I think I might want to see the ocean once in a while.)
I hope you are well and happy!

Tallest Skyscraper

The tallest tower I've been on is the Empire State Building. A bit pricey but still worth it. I'll find the pictures of towers that I promised. I don't know if I should include some pictures of the same thing though like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Should I?
