Madness, hustle and bustle in a crazy city where everything you want to do has a problem attatched to it. If you like difficulty and having people get in your face and following you to your hotel, then by all means go live there! If you like peace and quiet and things to be a little easy on the mind then stay away. I'm being very harsh, im sure there are nice parts.. i just couldn't find any. If you are a woman travelling on her own (like i was) then it may be worth grabbing the nearest westerner and holding onto him until jumps under a passing taxi just to get away from your obvious paranoia... no wait, that might just be applicable to me.

Favourite spots: |
Hiding in my hotel room with a pillow over my face til it was time to leave or suffocate, whichever came sooner. I'm being very hard i know, but you've got to moan to someone.

What's really great: |
hard to say, it's a toss up between the food poisoning, spy holes in my bathroom, horrible hotel staff who kept knocking on my door to see if i needed anything (every 10 minutes), air conditioning that sounded like a helicopter and didn't work and the horrible man at dehli airport who made me wait out in the heat coz i turned up a few hours early for my flight and didn't even have 1USD to use the toilet. thanks dehli airport x

Hi Rebekah,
I completely understand what you went through while you were here in Delhi last year so I won't blame you for writing what you exactly felt, I know it because last month I had a freeloader ( http://globalfreeloaders.com ) come and stay with me for two days and she admitted that trip to India is difficult for a single female. So I am rating your report with 5 globo points since it's the real truth that bites hard and hurts a lot.
Well, I apologise for such an inconvenience you had to go through in my country, next time, you can be my guest when you come to India. I guess that way I would be able to make it up to you for all the frustration you had to go through while you were here in India.
Take care and do come to India again...
