We married in nearby Christiansfeld, and stayed at Helsminde, but Haderslev gave us some real romantic scenes, specially the small boat harbour and warm pedesrtrian streets.
Love on the Pier
Haderslev is a small city with big history books. Just on the otherside of the german border, but vast difference in culture. Layed back, friendly and uncomplicated. English did not always get us going!
Favourite spots:
The pedestrian zone in the inner city offers a lot of shops and restaurants. The yacht harbour is layed out in a green belt and offers peacefull and beautifull scenery.
What's really great:
In the Park with baby Angelina
The market type pedestrian zone with restored houses nesting restarants and cafes.
Honesty: we forgot a camera at a park. It was turned in to the police, thats why we have these pics now!
Accommodations:
Heljsminde Hotel offers great comfort for small prices, also suite for the whole family.
Restaurants:
Our nephew playing with the yachts
Many offering delicious menus in the pedestrian zone, difficult to choose!
