Saint Bruno is situated only a few kilometers of Montreal. Although close to the French Metropolis, you'll find yourself in a relaxing and slower pace, where people are friendly and welcoming.

The Mont-Saint-Bruno is a -monteregienne- which is a mountain of sediment from the glacial age. So in the middle of the plains around Montreal you'll see from afar this mountain standing out, where you'll find assorted fosils and different plants that the glaciers brought on their trek.

Mont-Saint-Bruno is protected by the minister of Environment of Canada but one can still enjoy many activities in any seasons. Which includes downhill and cross country skiing, wooden paths, 5 lakes to explore with different attributes and a maple farm.

Sights: |
In the area, you'll also find many turn of the century Water mills that are well kept. One is also situated on Mont-Saint-Bruno by the Lac du Moulin. Many have been carefully restored.

Other recommendations: |
In very early spring, you can plan a day at the many maple syrup cabins in the area. They will serve you all meals with the syrup including the meats and such.
