Dear Wojtek,

Good luck with your African trip! I am a little concerned about the situation in the new country however, as the situation is reportedly unstable still. This is today's piece of news (by the BBC) coming out of there:
At least 50 people have reportedly been killed in South Sudan clashes, as rebel leader George Athor claims a new militia has joined him.

Both Mr Athor and South Sudan's army say more than 50 people have died in clashes in Upper Nile State but each says most of the casualties were on the other side.

The claims have not been verified.

The increasing violence comes as South Sudan prepares to declare independence from the north in July.

Media have a tendency to blow things out of proportion, but please be extra careful, in case this escalates.

enjoy the last warm days for this year! Europe isn't very comfortable at the moment! ;-) Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful travel log with us again. It has been a real sunbeam in quite boring Globo times!
