David,
I just knew one of your three wonderful reports would be selected! This is a terrific trilogy and all three were deserving!
I wanted to 1st thank you but never got round to finding it how to achieve that since I joined GS Blogsite... :(.
After several attempts, including the pic uploads, and that was a helpful great start... This site is amazing esp. with the slides & the quality presented but I'm still learning and managed to propose some Q's to others down the ranks during the accidental uphill climb I am still with on the features/tools but no reply as yet.
I got this far now and you are the one I want to thank first & foremost and send to my best wishes. U R also most welcome to let us know when u're crossing the pond for the tulips or just plain visiting... or go after the mussels which I crave just as much...

Thanks for your message. I hope that you have good time on the Faroes, enjoying the beauty of the nature. I wish you clear weather so you will be able to make some good pictures (I was not so lucky).
Best greetings!
Wojtek
Thanks a million for the congrats. I am really happy that my report on Shiraz reads well. But thanks also for all your kind words regarding my input. It is encouraging.
I am very pleased that the album also on Iran was awarded. This way, I think there is a great, and deserved, emphasis on this fascinating country.
I'm very pleased that you enjoyed my report. There will be one more from Iran on Esfahan.
I think I was carwful to mention in the report what the value of IRR was, when I quoted the price of the taxi ride (18,000 rials = €1.30). I trusted the members would know how to translate other prices in rials based on that information. Please let me know if you think I ought to have given a better translation.
that train still exists. I have the timetable in a pdf file, just write me your email and I will send it to you.
(or look for it in www.cp.pt It's a regional train)
anyway, what is the best in Serra da Lousã is the mountain and the villages there, not Lousã (city) itself.
in this website

you'll find information on the best destinations in the center of Portugal. Your idea about visiting Buçaco is great, that's a beautiful place. I don't know if there's a bus going there, but I will try to check it.
About Serra do Açor, I'm still looking for information in English. Next weekend I'll go there, I'll put some pictures in Globo.
