Thank you for entry in my guest book – I am overwhelmed by all the friendly gestures from my fellow Globo’s. I really must find time to spend more time on here again.

Good opportunity to read this again. I did not leave a comment last time. This is what it would have been; very attractive photos, but after reading your description I would have to think if I would go (apart from the climate)

What resilience the villagers must have, between battling the elements and only having the basic necessities of life. You cannot help but admire them. Can't believe you didn't succumb and buy a carpet...
Cheers,
Kerrie
PS Still working on those home grown stories.

Bravo
This album of the village where even Arabic is a foreign language is just a step beyond where my courage would take me. The results are worth the risks.
The heat of the day and markets 2 are my favourites.

David
All the pictures in your album are enhanced by the contrast between the burning sun and the black album surround. They look better even than when you first posted them
The two most striking are i think eat of the day and markets2
