Memories of Stonehenge
Posted: 2006-06-22 02:14 AM
Hello,
My friend said she remember going there as a child and it was just set in a muddy field, with not much facilities. The area has really changed since then, it is all fenced now and across the road is the tourist centre, with restaurants, shops and a massive car park. They still plan to redevelop the area. The idea is to conceal the two major roads in an underpass so that the henge will sit in fields.
I will go back in next few years to see how it changes, may you should too.
Take care
Amanda

Birds of a feather
Posted: 2006-06-21 05:05 PM
Hi Marianne
Thank you for your kind comments on my zoo pics. :-) You're right that using an SLR camera and using a digital camera is so different. The quality of the picture is different, but also the way one takes a photograph too. I do agree that birds are especially difficult to photograph with an SLR.
Talk to you soon

Hoi Marianne,
Groetjes
Henry

MAGPIES
Posted: 2006-06-20 04:15 AM
Hi Marianne,
Hope all is well with you. :-)
Regarding the magpie bird, I tried only 3 times to photograph this bird. I was very lucky, they are quite
stable and therefore made it easier to photograph.
:-)
Talk to you soon

Reports
Posted: 2006-06-20 04:05 AM
Thanks a lot for your advice! This time I wrote my report piece by piece as you said, not publishing, just saving to continue next day. Now, today as I wrote the last part it lost so much, all the chapter I mentioned... and finaly the scanner quit his duty.
I am traveling to the Philippines next week, and its sooo busy right now...
I hope to complete the report before.
Thanks again, and have a good time

I I have just come back, it was really great, my body is hacking from every where! Sea Kayak was really really hard, I was a total beginner (the only one in the group), my physical fitness was tested to the limits!
I need to sort out my photos, but they will soon be uploaded in a few days time.
Take care!
