Hi David

Thank you for the suggestion. I have heaps of photos shot from aircraft above Tahiti or other islands and I will try to do what you advised me to do so far as I can. I now take flying lessons and I have plenty of opportunities to accompany other pilots under training or our chief pilot on photography dedicated flights.
And I'd like to congratulate you for reaching n°4 in Globo hierarchy.
Next week, I will be in Easter Islands and I expect to return home with a wealth of pictures.
Cheers.

Den Gamle By

Hi David,
thanks for giving the photo such a high rating.
I guess I was a bit lazy with naming the photos, but I might change the titles at some point. I just wanted to get the album online.
Den Gamle By is lovely. They haven't just rebuilt houses, but dimantled them stone by stone & transported them to Arhus. And the actors, who play the parts of townsfolk during the summer, aren't in your face, just getting on with their jobs, like tending to the gardens, manning the post office etc. I went into the white & black house on the left of the picture and there was this guy making pancakes over an open fire, of which he gave me one to try. No idea though what it's like during weekends or high season.
They have also a really terrific Hans Christian Andersen exhibition on at the moment, which showcases containing relevant things from the appropriate time to quite a few of his fairy tales. and the toy museum on site is also worth visiting.
Thanks again

Hello David

Hello David,
thank you so much for reading and rating my report.
I am sorry I haven't been around for a while, but I have been quite busy. Unfortunatelly not travelling, apart from the week in Denmark, a couple of days in Paris and 2 trips home to Germany.
I always find it easier to write about something that is still fresh in my mind and just haven't got the time at the moment to do the research neccessary to write about places I have been to in the past.
I will try and be a more active member of globo again, promise!
all the best

Hey David,
Thanks for the update on Krakow (yes it was me you promised the info). I would really like to go there, I'm hoping in late September.
I was meant to go to India, but with all this trouble, I'm not so sure now.
Speak to you soon.

Hi David
It's always nice to get some feedback on the uploads... means that at least somebody apreciates what you're doing ;-)
Now that you mentioned it I looked again at the picture and found it also more interesting... I merely took the shoot in order to show the winding road but it has more qualities as you found out! thank you!

Tienes razon

David, tienes razon.
He seguido tu consejo y he escrito sobre mi ciudad.
Cuando regrese de la Antartida escribire sobre las islas francesas del Indico Crozet, Kerguelen, etc.
Saludos
