Spent approx 24 days in Cambodia. Visited Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Kompong Thom and Kompong Cham. Enjoyed the country greatly. As far as ease of travel within I can compare it to Indonesia. Very easy to get around from place to place. I started in Phnom Penh. Spent my days on walking journeys through the city. My evenings were spent at the National Museum watching the bats do their nighlty emergence from the roof. Took a day to head down to Tonle Bati and had lunch on the lake. Visited a temple and played with some children for a while. After a few days I headed by boat up to Siem Reap for Angkor Wat. Words cannot describe the structures there. Amazing! Spent 3 days visiting the Angkor ruins. I also took a day to travel about 3 hours North to see the Beng Mealea ruins. Also from the Angkor era. There are still live land mines around Beng Mealea so make sure you hire a local to guide you through. I also took time out to visit the Mine Museum near the Angkor entrance. No room email me
