tanks for da compliments re: the report of the month!
Yes, I am proud, and appreciative.
I have just published another report today, and I hope that you find that interesting as well.
With Ryanair and Aerlingus offering cheap as chips flights to formerly exotic Morocco, I hope some of you get to explore both locations. I have a few concerns about mass tourism, but I know North Africa has experienced far worse phenomena, and I am sure that Morocco and Africa will continue to be Morocco and Africa despite all efforts of the corporate World.

davidx - the documentary "Supersize Me by Morgan Spurlock" sheds a little light on this matter. Here is a snippet for your consumption:
Morgan Spurlock: What is this a picture of?
Child: I don't know. George W. Bush?
[Morgan shows the camera that it is actually a picture of Jesus]
Morgan Spurlock: Who's that?
[Shows picture of Ronald MacDonald]
Child1: MacDonald, Ronald MacDonald.
Child2: MacDonald!
Morgan Spurlock: Where have you seen him?
Child1: On television, on the commercials.
Child2: He's the character that made McDonald's, and he does a lot of funny stuff on TV.

Hola David. Many pilgrims make the Camino for cultural reasons, so I invite you to make it!.
When you arrive to Santiago you must head to Casa do Dean to receive your Compostela document, written in Latin language purposes (I have just posted my Compostela under my Travel Log, so you can have a look at it, and see that I am called Georgium Ioannem). Then, they will ask you if you made the Camino for religion or cultural. If for Cultural purposes, then they will deny you the Compostela…! The Compostela document gives you right to pay 50% less in Iberia flights, and to eat for free, three times a day during three days, in the luxurious Parador Reyes Catolicos.
By the way, I have posted some Horreos pictures in answer to your comments to my Camino pictures.
Hasta la vista, amigo.

I appreciate your comment in my guestbook because I am going through a similar procedure of now loving my previous political enemies. It is difficult to write about old times, but we should. Thanks and more from you anytime!

I'm glad your surgery went well. Just recently I had lasik, so now I don't have to wear pesky glasses or contacts. But, I bet it feels a million times better to be able to see clearly.
I will take your advice and do some local reports. Its funny but sometimes its so much harder to appreciate how unique your hometown/home state is in comparison to the rest of the world (which always seems so much more unique lol)
